Workroom Assistant (Ecommerce)
We are looking for an assistant for our busy curtains workroom.
Part time, which can be adapted for the right candidate. However we do need a minimum of 20 hours per week, and you must be able to work Mondays!
Details;
Your main task will be measuring, and cutting curtains to order as part of our busy curtains team. While an interest in fabrics is helpful, full training will be given.
In the workroom you will also be involved in processing orders, and packaging them for dispatch. And there may be times you can help with stock management, and curtain preparation.
This role will also involve around 8 hours a week in our warehouse for the picking and packing of readymade curtains, rods and fabric samples. We send out a lot each week!
You must feel comfortable working in a busy environment and have a great attention to detail so our orders are right first time for the customer. Basic IT skills will be helpful to browse the site and investigate orders, Experience in retail or ecommerce would be a real bonus.

Customer Service Advisor
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our friendly and busy team. Working within a rapidly growing ecommerce busines with lots of opportunity for personal development.
Can be port-time with some flexibility. While this role is primarily Mon - Fri, any successful applicant may be required to work some bank holiday and weekends.
Details
This role is primarily about resolving customer queries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be involved with integrating our new customer service systems and looking at how we improve our service over time.
At month end this includes working with the wider team to provide reporting for our clients and there is also a need for proactive sales, such as calling customers who have ordered samples.
Naturally you will also be involved in ensuring customer information on all our websites is up to date, and accurate to reduce initial contact. And there may be the need to assist with other duties relating to the business. This is a small team in a growing business and a can-do attitude is a must.
Key Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- A polite and professional telephone manner
- Strong English skills with an ability to respond to emails in a polite and friendly manner
- Recent experience within a Customer Service role is essential.
- Must be organised, motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
