We offer a range of readymade curtains that can be altered in length.
We also offer a range of voile panels that can be altered in length.
If you need a precise width too we offer Made to Measure Voiles too so you can get the perfect fit.
We have a no-quibble returns policy and will happily take back any item that has not been custom made, or customised.
Products which cannot be returned
Orders which are created to your requirements cannot be returned. These include
- Made to Measure Curtains - also called Custom Made. This includes all nets, voiles, string curtains and jardinières.
- Express Net & Voile curtains
- Any item that has been altered to your size, or customised such as changing a heading.
- Cut lengths of any fabric only
- Wire cut to size
- Made to Order Tracks and Poles
- Any Bespoke product made from fabric including tie backs

While we cannot amend an order once it has been placed, please do email us quoting your order number and we will see what we can do.
Express Nets or Voiles - Because our nets are made to your sizes most can't be cancelled. However if you haven't yet received a dispatch email we are happy to check the order progress and cancel it if it's not cut. Please use the contact form to request a cancellation.

Hardware - Most hardware orders can be cancelled, although there are occasions if you are buying a custom length when this is not the case. Please use the contact form to request a cancellation and we'll get back to you.
Oh no! We're sorry to hear that something isn't right with your order.
- For orders measuring wrong - The quickest resolution, please send an email with your order number and an image of the curtain laying flat next to a tape measure.
- Something missing from the order - Some products are shipped in separate packages so it may be on it's way. You will have two dispatch emails if that's the case. If you need further help, please contact the team.
- Wrong item received - While that does occasionally happen we're sorry that's it's your order. For the quickest resolution, please send an email with your order number and an image of what you received.
- Faulty item - I am sorry to hear that something has a fault. Faulty items, will of course be replaced or refunded. Please contact the team providing your order number and images of the issue for a swift resolution.
- Damaged in transit - I am sorry to hear that your order has arrived damaged. To help us get this sorted, please get in touch with us. In the meantime, and to speed up the process, please can you take photos of the damage and email them to us quoting your order number.

It all depends on where we are with the order.
If your order has been already shipped, we are unable to amend the address.
If the order is still in process of being made, please do email us with your order number and preferred address and we will see if we are able to amend it for you.
Nets and voiles are types of sheer curtain - they allow light in, but offer privacy or window dressing.
Net curtains have a knitted construction, and generally have a coarser yarn than voiles. Patterns can be included in the knit. They are economical as they are easy to work with.
Voiles are woven fabrics so the fabric is finer and they look softer at your window. They come in more designs & colours than nets. They are also more robust, so generally it's easier to wash voiles than nets.

Choosing your gather is all about choosing how many folds you want in your finished curtains.
It varies from flat (no folds) up to 3x (lots of folds)
There is no right 'gather' - it's personal choice but we like 2.5x - it normally shows off the fabric best.

The header refers to top of the curtain, and what style it is made in.
It needs to work with your track, pole, rod or wire.

It depends!
All of our sheer curtains come as singles unless stated on the product page.
- Most nets, voiles and panels come as single curtains (but you can order multiples).
- Most curtains come as pairs.
This could be a couple of things. It's worth checking:
a) have you got it set to inches or centimetres on the product page?
b) does the gather you want take it past the maximum width available? We work with width of fabrics and may need to do a bespoke quote if you want it wider.

For the quickest way to get a price please enter your window width, length (drop), gather and header type for the fabric you like.
The price shown on the site is the from price - normally half metre widths. Don't forget you can order samples to see fabrics before purchase.
If your length (drop) size isn't listed, it maybe that you are looking at our range of Express Nets and Voiles or our Ready Made products which are only available in the set sizes shown on the product pages.

Our telescopic rods have a diameter of 10mm at their thickest point, while the tension rods are thicker at 17mm.
The XL rod is bigger again at 21mm.

Most of our slot top headers can be used with a wire or a rod that is up to 19mm in diameter.
This means they work with our standard net rods, and our white easy-fit rods.
Some of our designs do have slightly wider or narrower slot tops so please do check the product page for the design that you are looking at for further details.
Most tracks can be cut to size.

You'll need to pick one of our Made to Measure Net or Voile designs that offers this. Having a slot top and bottom is an option under headings on the majority of our designs.
The hem type varies depending on the product that you are looking at. The Specifications tab on each product page will advise as to the hem type for each design.
The product image will also show the hem style.
