The Henry Face Fix is a 12mm hollow steel tube, brass coated and lacquered so it won't tarnish over time. It's made to your exact length, with brackets that fix to the window frame or wall face with screws. Measuring: We automatically deduct 1cm from your custom rod length to allow for the brackets. If your order hasn't yet been processed we may be able to cancel, but a £30 cancellation charge applies. Antique Brass currently has a longer lead time due to material availability. The Henry Recess Fix Cafe Rod 12mm
A café rod with the elegance of a brass finish, yet light and easy to handle, bringing the chic of a Parisian bistro window to your home. Café curtains keep your privacy while letting the natural light in, and a metal rod finishes the look beautifully. The Henry Recess Fix is a 12mm hollow steel tube, brass coated and lacquered so it won't tarnish over time. It's made to your exact length, with brackets that fix to the window recess wall with screws. Rod lengths over 120cm need a Henry Recess Fix Centre Bracket for support (lengths over 240cm need 2 x centre brackets). The Henry Recess Fix Centre Brackets are available to order separately. A rod with centre brackets will need two or more café curtains, as a single curtain can't pass across the brackets. Café rod rings are available here: The Henry 28mm Café Rod Ring (for use with tape top café curtains). Measuring: We automatically deduct 1cm from your supplied width to allow for the brackets. Click "More info" in the measurements section for our measuring guide and more details. Please note: Once an order is placed, we cannot accept cancellations. If your order hasn't yet been processed we may be able to cancel, but a £30 cancellation charge applies. Antique Brass currently has a longer lead time due to material availability. The Oscar 13mm Solid Polished Brass Rod
Real brass. Not brass-coated, not brass-effect - a genuine brass tube with a warm, bright polished finish. This is the rod for anyone who wants the hardware to feel as considered as the fabric hanging from it. At 13mm diameter it's the perfect size for a café curtain - substantial enough to hold the fabric properly, slim enough not to dominate the window. The unlacquered finish means it develops a gentle natural patina over time, which suits natural fabrics and aged hardware far better than anything that stays artificially bright. If you'd prefer to keep it polished, a light application of brass polish occasionally will do it. We recommend a centre support on lengths over 1.5m - this, therefore requires two cafe curtains. As this product is made to order, it is non-returnable.
Twist & Fit 12mm Tension Rod - White
A white, extendable tension rod that grips neatly inside your window recess, with no screws, drilling or fixings needed. Hang your voile or net curtains in minutes. The easiest way to hang a net or voile. This white, extendable rod holds itself in place inside your window recess by tension alone, so there's no drilling, no screws and no marks left behind. Simply slide on your curtain and twist it into place. Tension rods are ideal for lightweight voile and net curtains with a slot top heading. Heavier curtains may cause the rod to bow, so we'd recommend a track or pole for those. Need something wider? Take a look at our extra long twist fit tension rod.
