A modern and timeless fabric with a simple textured design that will easily compliment any home décor. This design can be custom made to your size requirements and is available with various heading and lining options. Please note that the curtains will come as a pair (a set of 2 individual curtains).
Please click on the More Info link in the measurements section for our curtain measuring guide.
For curtains it is important to measure your track or pole width and NOT the window. If fitting a new track or pole we recommend that this should extend 15cm to 20cm either side of the window and at least 15cm above, but it is down to personal preference.
For curtain poles simply measure the width of the pole between any finials or end caps. This is the width that you need to enter.
For a standard curtain track simply measure the full width of the track including any returns, this is the width that you need to enter.
For curtain tracks that overlap in the centre you will need to measure the full width of the track and the width of the overlap. Add the two together and that is the width that you need to enter. Please note that overlap tracks are only suitable for use with a pencil pleat heading.
Drop Measurements:
When ordering a pencil pleat or pinch pleat heading and using a curtain pole with rings, measure from the very bottom of the ring to where you want the curtain to finish. This is the drop measurement that you need to enter.
When ordering an eyelet heading you need to measure from the top of the pole to where you want the curtain to finish. This is the drop measurement that you need to enter. We will make the curtain by automatically adding 3cm of fabric above where the eyelet sits on the pole. For this reason, we do not recommend positioning your pole close to the ceiling as your curtains will catch. Please ensure that you have enough clearance to accommodate the 3cm stand up above the eyelet.
When ordering a pencil pleat or pinch pleat heading and using a track, measure from the top of the track to where you want your curtain to finish. This is the correct drop measurement that you need to enter.
We would suggest the following drops for your curtains:
To the sill.
15-20cm below the sill.
Just above the radiator.
1.5cm above the floor.
Please note that anything custom made, made to order, or cut to size is fully non-returnable so please do double check your measurements. If you require any assistance, please do contact our team by emailing hello@netcurtainsdirect.com

Included: 1 pair of curtains with an optional pair of tie backs.
Curtain Heading Options:
Pencil pleat 3"/7.5cm - for use with a curtain track or curtain pole with rings.
40mm Eyelet - Buckram lined heading suitable for use with curtain poles no larger than 30mm in diameter. Available in 4 colour options: we would recommend colour matching to your curtain pole or to your rooms fixtures and fittings.
Double or triple pinch pleat - Buckram lined heading with adjustable hooks for use with a curtain track or curtain pole with rings. Poles are recommended with this heading to ensure the pleats hang correctly. This heading has permanent 13cm deep sewn-in pleats and means that you will not be able to adjust the width of the curtain once made. It is therefore very important that you are accurate when measuring the width of your track or pole.
Curtain Lining Options:
Polycotton sateen twill lining - This is a standard lining and is available in white or ivory.
Blackout lining - Offers controlled lighting and protection from the heat of the sun, but also works as a thermal layer to lock in warmth and protect from the elements during colder months. Available in ivory only.
Thermal super soft lining - This heavy sateen lining is 100% cotton and has a soft raised reverse, giving your curtains extra body. It offers thermal properties, trapping warm air between the face fabric and the lining to help insulate your room from drafts. Available in ivory only.
Washing care: These curtains are not machine washable, some linings and headings can be dry cleaned but your curtains will come with a care label with specific care instruction.
Make up: The curtains will be made up with side seams measuring approximately 4cm and a 7cm blind stitched bottom hem with lead weighted mitered corners. All curtains wider than 127cm are made from multiple joined widths of fabric, and will be pattern matched. Pairs of curtains will be pattern matched from the top, unfortunately no curtains can be pattern matched at the leading edges as the sides are turned in and sewn. Please see table below advising how many widths of fabric and joins there will be per curtain depending on your track/pole width.
Please note that these curtains will be supplied as a pair and will be made up with a double fullness.
Boomerang shaped tie backs are available as an optional extra and are available in 3 sizes. The tie backs are supplied in pairs and have a choice of either brass or silver D rings.
Pattern repeat: 20cm.
Material: 100% polyester
We strongly recommend having a sample of this design before placing an order as the colour may vary slightly from your monitor, due to different monitors displaying colours differently. Please note that samples of the fabric only will be supplied, if you require a sample of the lining then please email hello@netcurtainsdirect.com.

With so many options available these days, both can be practical and beautiful.
Generally curtains lend a more luxurious feel to the room, while blinds look neater and more contemporary. Curtains can also offer better thermal insulation, while blinds are generally easier to clean.
Specification
What's the difference between blackout and dimout curtains?
Blackout curtains have a fabric or lining that blocks out all light, while dimout usually blocks most but not all light – normally around 98%.
The key to either blackout or dimout is to use them with poles or tracks that minimize the gap between the window and the curtain. Curtains tracks are often used, or you can get special curtain poles.
Can I wash curtains?
It depends on the fabric and construction as there is a huge variety of options for curtains. If you don’t have care instructions we would recommend dry cleaning.
Measuring Advice
How do I measure for curtains?
It’s very easy to measure up for curtains. Just follow our simple guide here.
Where should curtains hang?
Largely this is a matter of taste, but most of the time people choose one of three options:
1.Just below the window. Offering a neat look, this is also generally cheaper as it needs less fabric. It can also be more practical if the room is busy or long curtains could pose a hazard, near a fireplace for instance.
2.Just off the floor. Full length curtains look beautiful and can make a room seem taller. Just off the floor looks neat and provides a calming focal point.
3.In a puddle on the floor. As above this makes a room seem taller and shows off a beautiful fabric. Puddled fabric looks less formal and really suits linens and other natural fabrics.
The length of curtain you need depends on where your pole is positioned. We rate this blog on how to hang curtains from stylist and interior designer Emily Henderson
