Included: One roller blind supplied complete with a mechanism and brackets ready to hang. The blind comes with appropriate fixing screws to enable it to be either top fixed or face fixed. Installation instructions are supplied with each order.

Mechanism: The blind mechanism measures 5cm in depth so we recommend you check that your recess is deep enough to fit the blind and mechanism. Also bearing in mind obstructions such as handles on windows.

When measuring please take into account the ends and control mechanism, which add 35mm to the width of the fabric.

Fitting: 

Inside of recess - Select this option if you are positioning the blind inside of your window recess.

Outside of recess - Select this option if you are positioning the blind outside of your window recess.

Ensure that you have thought about whether the blind is to be fitted inside or outside of the recess, as this will affect the measurements you need to provide. For more information on how to measure please see the More Info link above the measurements section.

Roll: The roller blind can be made up to either over-roll, so that the blind comes down in front of the roller, or under-roll so that it comes down behind the roller.

Control Position: The roller blind will come with a chain control and you have the option for this to be positioned on either the left or right of the blind.

Chain Colour: This is the chain control and is available in white or silver.

In order to supply the correct chain length to adhere to health and safety regulations (BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014) we will need to know the installation height and blind drop. The installation height is the measurement from the floor to where the top of the blind will sit. 

Operating Chains Regulations:

The bottom loop of the chain must be at least 150cm above the floor.

The chain loop must be secured to the wall using the safety clips provided.

The appropriate safety labels must remain attached to both the chain loop and safety clip on purchase.

It is illegal to supply or professionally install an internal window blind which does not comply with child safety requirements of BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014. As such you can rest assured that all our blinds comply with the standard health and safety regulations mandatory requirements.

Hem: Finished with a seamless bottom hem, which eliminates any pin holes that come with stitching.

Washing Care: Most blinds are wipe clean clean only, but each blind order will come with a care label with specific care instructions.

  • We cannot guarantee express delivery in the following postcodes and areas – most of the Scottish Highlands, any remote areas and islands, and all AB, IV, KW, LA, PA, PH, BT, CA18 - CA27, HS1 - HS9, IM, TR21 - TR25, ZE postcodes.

  • For a tracked service, please use Express. Tracking details can take up to 24 hours to appear on the courier website after you receive your shipping notification.

Overseas Orders

Please contact our customer services team for a delivery quote for overseas orders.

 Overseas orders may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. If you are ordering outside the UK, you will be responsible for paying the customs and duty that may be added on delivery of your parcel. If you are unsure of these charges, please check with customs before placing your order. We are unable to predict their amount, at this time.

 


Delivery Guidance

 Our couriers will attempt to deliver directly to the delivery address specified on your order, unless other arrangements have been made.  If there is no one home to accept the delivery, the couriers may leave parcels with a neighbour or in a safe place.

 

·       If delivery can’t be made, the courier will contact you so that you can re-book the delivery, or arrange to pick up the order from a depot or sorting office.

 

·       If an item is returned to us because delivery cannot be made, Net Curtains Direct Limited reserves the right to charge shipping for a resend.

 

·       We cannot be held responsible for any delivery, if an incorrect address has been put on the order.

 

·       For Express Tracked Delivery, any parcel that has been opted to be left in a safe place or left without a signature is entirely the responsibility of the recipient. We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to this parcel.  

 

·       Deliveries can consist of one or more parcels and could be delivered with numerous couriers.

 

·       Delivery is to the door, and we are not responsible for any additional carrying or positioning of products ordered, unless we have agreed to a special delivery at the time of accepting your order.  

 

·       Delivery errors must be reported to us as soon as possible. (For UK orders, notification must be within 14 days of the dispatch email. After 14 days we may not be able to claim for the parcel if it is lost/stolen.). 

 

·       If you have received your parcel in poor condition, damaged or if items are missing, please keep all outer packaging so that the courier can collect the box for their investigation.  Any damaged boxes must be signed for as ‘damaged’ at delivery. In addition, you may be asked to send us photos of the damaged packaging and / or product. Photographic evidence helps us ensure the issue is dealt with quickly and efficiently. 

 

·       For any international orders we do have to allow a minimum of 35 working days before an order can be declared lost or an investigation opened. 

Some items may incur additional delivery charges, particularly to international destinations, due to the weight and size of the package being shipped. We may have to charge additional courier costs from time to time, but will contact you directly if this is the case.
